Instead of back flushing a cooling system.....?

Instead of backflushing, can't you just change your coolant every day for 3 days? This will get rid of all debris. For example, first drain the radiator, then fill with tap water, then drive for an hour, then drain the radiator again, then fill with tap water again, then drive another hour, then drain again, then fill with antifreeze and distilled water. Doing this will get rid of all loose contaminants.
