Possible demon sighting?

I was out with my friends in the woods behind a golf course when we spotted this really tall solid black figure. It ran really fast, like light speed. It didn't look like it had knees because it's legs weren't bending as it ran. It had a really pointy face/head. Like a kangaroo's head without ears. It seemed like it was getting closer to us so we ran. I'm sure whatever it was it could of caught us if it wanted to. Any ideas on what this could of been? I can't stop thinking about it.
