I herd Skype was blocked in kuwait is this true? and is it diffrent if your on a military base?

Sorry, I don't know the answer, but I'll tell you what I do know. Gmail's chat and Myspace don't work at certain bases in Iraq. Different branches of the Military have different rules. The bases use DSN phones. They're not like regular land lines. When my husband was in Iraq, he had to use prepaid cards in the payphones, that are monitored by people, everytime he called me.
