Where's the best place to park for all day in Leeds?

I'm thinking of coming up to mooch the sales, and don't want to get ripped off in an expensive car park, or chose one that's miles from anywhere. I'm coming up from the south, so where's the best one to head for? The map provided on the Leeds.gov website is useful, but I'd like a real person to help me, please. Thank you
