Information about Julius Caeser?

ha ha? what? since when has julius become a punchline? he died march 15th (ides of march), 44bc. his ins were the senators who he allegedly trusted. wives? he had only one but had cavorted with cleopatra. by the way, caesar spelled his name like that and not the way you did. please spell it right - it's the first and last form of respect to anyone. now, how did he become powerful? like wow you know nothing and me thinks you want us to fill in the blanks. look up julius gais on wikipedia.com and discover the life and times of the gent. i admire him for his works, writings, travels, rise to power and the chances he took. i will and can tell you this: julius was a late starter in life. when others of his ilk were in positions of power, he started when others had quit their rises. at 20 nobody knew him. by 30 he was on his way and by 40 he was rome's man of the year. by 50 he had traveled the known world, got busy in egypt and announced in rome his emperor status, which when administered, meant his standing as an immortal. what a guy! he did more in 50 years than most do in two or three lifetimes. know what? he is too immortal as over 2000 years have ped and we still talk about him. nice! really nice!
