I am not a Christian (anymore), but I had a dream about Jesus and he told me to read the bible?

Maybe he was just pointing to the bible in general...wanting you to read his word and come back to him...I've found that by prayer...not necessarily the type you hear in church...just mental conversations with him, thanking him for the little things that you appreciate in life and asking what ever you need the answer to. The answers may not come as fast as you'd like, but if you make it a habit to talk to him often, he will answer. I had a question I had been talking to him about. In Sunday School cl we were asked to turn to a certain verse. I couldn't pay attention to the verse I was supposed to read. My eyes keep being drawn to the bottom of the page. It was the answer to the question I had been asking. He does answer...usually in a quiet manner...so it takes some focus...if you've ignored him for some time, don't expect it overnight. If your best friend ignored you for a while, it would take you a while before you decided to talk with her again, right? Consider yourself lucky to have been given such a sign. Most people never get them. Getting a bible you can understand, and just start reading...will help more than you know.
