No candy, soda, chips, cookies, cake, chocolate, you get the point. Everything must go. Eat from 1,000-1,500 calories a day and try to burn as much as you can. Spend an hour on the treadmill per day. 3,500 calories equals one pound so If you really are devoted to lose weight you can, as it is very diffucult, burn 3,500 per day. If you follow a good diet and exercise plan, you should expect to lose about 40lbs in 5 months. So you should end up about 150lbs. If you work even longer you can lose more probably and extra 20lbs in 2 more months. Its a challenge but totally worth it in the end. Good luck!
