That was mean of her...if he doesn't know you then how should he know better. I think you should get a new friend. Not because she made you look bad in front of a guy but because she misrepresents you to people that don't even know you because she is jealous. That is immature and wrong. You can get better than her (and him). If he takes your friends word without even getting to know you he's lame too.
